Final Project
The project proposal is due on June 1st. The final project is due on June 13th. The proposal form, instructions, and the grading rubric can be found below. Please remember that this is 20% of your fourth quarter grade. |
Khan Academy / SAT prep
We will be using Khan Academy this year. During the first quarter, you will be working on the SAT prep as part of your homework. You can get started here: After you get started, add me as a coach. In the profile section of their website (https://www.khanacademy.org/profile/), there is a coaches tab. Click this and enter the class code that I sent to the email you provided in WeBWork. Your first quarter project grade will be based on the SAT prep that you complete. If you already started this last year on your own, I will also include this in the project grade. |
WeBWork
Most of our homework will be done using my WeBWork server. I will also send you important messages with this server. When you first sign in, your username and password will be the first initial of your first name followed by your last name. These are case sensitive; use all lowercase letters. For example, John Smith will have the username and password "jsmith".
Once you are are logged in, click on the "User Settings" link to the left of the page to change your password and enter contact information. If you would like to receive text messages instead of emails, your mobile number has a corresponding email address. For example, if your mobile number is (555) 123-4567 and your carrier is:
